The variety of instructing and learning methods that is used within a course is an important take into account creating a study course with curiosity to college students. They range between teacher led, e. g. lectures, to being student led at the. g. including group discussion posts. As college students have different learning styles they benefit the majority of when taught in their preferred style, exploration shows that it can be beneficial to every students to obtain information in varying styles. Additionally , teaching in their preferred style can create understanding. An example of this would be if pupils were ‘instructed' how to execute a task, then simply ‘shown' how to complete the same task after which to ‘perform' the task themselves. This links in to (Honey & Mumford) learning models theory, every single style of learner; activist, dish, theorist and pragmatist every have their personal way of performing things however they are all capable to benefit from the diverse teaching styles. By using these kinds of different styles of teaching/learning the students may stay focussed as their fascination will be substantial. I personally use VAK in two ways and vary the methods employed depending on the lessons. For the practical part of the lesson the Auditory and Kinaesthetic factors are bought into presentations to create inclusivity, the students view and listen and are in a position to question before going on to attempt the physical exercise for themselves.
