Dangers of Carbon Monoxide Research Paper

Human beings, pets or animals and other life exist and interact between themselves within a common environment. These environmental constituents will be interdependent on each other, therefore maintaining the natural harmony of the environment. As a result of over-population, rapid industrializations, and other human being activities, the planet became full of diverse pollutants that were introduced into the environment, giving climb to polluting of the environment. Environmental polluting of the environment can be defined as the undesirable change in physical, substance and natural characteristics of air, area and normal water. Significant types of air pollution in urban areas, villages and metropolitan areas of growing countries like Nigeria may include but are not limited to emissions from automobiles and generator exhaust. Environmental characteristics just like topography, altitude, and anthropogenic activity including traffic, industrial effluents and proximity to sources of air pollution, have considerable influence around the abundance, home time and preservation of warm trace gas over a place. Criteria atmosphere contaminants (CAC), or requirements pollutants, are set of atmosphere pollutants that cause smog, acid rain and other health hazards. History of CO as a criterion pollutant went out with back to year 1971 when the United States Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA) set the first nationwide ambient air quality standards (NAAQS) for CO. In Nigeria, CO was identified as CAC after the formation of National Environmental Protection Agency (FEPA) in 1992 and Nigerian Ambient Quality of air standards was set. Carbon monoxide became a significant air pollutant both inside and outside because of improved use of bio-fuel as a major source of energy intended for cooking, electricity generation and transportation. Additionally 80% of carbon monoxide and 40% in the nitrogen oxides are made when gasoline and diesel powered fuels were burnt and Petrol creates 28 times more COMPANY than diesel-powered. The air all of us breathe should normally have 21% fresh air,...
